Common Model Sections and Stations

At the MedCORDEX-Baltic Earth-COST Workshop we briefly discussed common model output. Apart from 2D and 3D fields of the state variables sections and stations in high temporal resolution would be good to have. One possibility would be to follow the recommendations of the NOOS and BOOS network for the location of the sections. A document about it can be found here: NOOS and BOOS sections. For the stations we could implement the monitoring stations in the North Sea and Baltic Sea. The Swedish monitoring stations are listed here: SHARK stations.

For those that are using NEMO: We have implemented the NOOS and BOOS sections and the SHARK stations in xml-files, that are used for NEMO io. Drop us a line and we send them over.

Dear Ha (and whom it may concern),

I have uploaded the xml-file (available for one month) we are using as a default. It produces monthly means of 2D and 3D fields and daily output along the NOOS and BOOS sections and for the SHARK stations. We are using NEMO 3.3.1 and the ice model does not look at the xml-file for the output. So, if your ice model honours xml-definitions you need to implement the output for the ice model in the xml-file.
